How to sign how are you
- 1
Sign HOW: two bent hands, knuckles touching, that roll open so the palms face up.
- 2
Point to the person for YOU.
- 3
Raise your eyebrows and hold them until they answer. That's what makes it a question.
Common mistakes
- Flat eyebrows. Without them this reads as a statement.
- Rolling HOW only halfway. The hands finish palm-up.
